London Becs graduated from California State University, Long Beach with a BA in Interpersonal and Organizational Communications. During college London was elected as the Philanthropy Chair and became very active in her efforts to provoke involvement in charity work and raise money for a number of worthy causes.
After graduation, London immediately took a marketing position where she specialized in public relations and acted as brand ambassador doing promotions, coordinating events, and working to increase awareness of her company through community outreach. She then worked for years in fashion as a fit model and was a national hair model for Wella and Sebastian product lines, most recently seen Aug. 2015 on the show “LA Hair” as an infomercial host.
London chose sobriety in 2011 and through her continuous recovery has helped countless women in 12-step fellowships get their lives back. Over a year ago London decided to change careers to work in the treatment field which has been the catalyst for the phenomenal life she leads today. London became your Miss California, United States 2012 and was also voted Miss Congeniality United States that same year by her fellow delegates at the national pageant in Washington DC. Highlights include winning Female Athlete of the Year- All Bay Area as a senior in high school and being a long term volunteer for the Special Olympics inspired by her younger sister who has Downs Syndrome. A prominent passion of London’s is being an in-home health care service professional, assisting developmentally challenged clients to socialize and expand their independent living skills.
Her achievements and unique life challenges have given her balance, an incredible work ethic and the compassion necessary to be successful in our field. London says she was drawn to Connections in Recovery through the display of integrity and direct purpose our company shows towards helping others change their lives. She is excited to be a part of the CiR team and share her lifetime of experience with us.
